It is still a bit cold here in Seattle. The foliage is filling out on most of the plants and small trees in my garden, but the spring blooms are taking their time this year. The Icelandic poppy, pictured above, shines brightly in the garden today. This is the time of year where you notice a change everyday. Love this time.
This time last year nearly all of my tulips had bloom. This year I can count on one hand how many have bloomed of the two hundred bulbs I planted in the fall. This beauty is called Abu Hassan.
Love these daffodils with their peachy centers. Just bought four bulbs this year. I am hoping they naturalize like crazy.
